There is a very complex definition of Paranormal but the basic definition is critters that appear to be living that is not scientifically proven. That is the definition but there is much more than that to go over. First of all it can come in many different types of animals or humans. Basically anything that is alive or has been in the past it could be a part of it. People have seen all kinds of weird stuff, the main one is obviously seeing human ghosts and stuff like that. I have had personal experiences in many different places along with my friends and a lot of people have case studies about it. On some of my adventures in Colorado specifically on Lookout Mountain I remember seeing a figure on the road watching us but when we got closer the figure just vanished. I also remember seeing a figure of a man standing right next to the M on the mountain but there is all of this electrical wire around it so nobody could get in and even if it was a worker they wouldn’t be there at three o’clock in the morning. My best friends experience was definitely more terrifying than what I have dealt with “I was sound asleep in my bedroom having the typical usual dreams that can occur throughout my sleep, I started feeling paranoid and frightened then my heart started racing it felt like I was trying to run from something but I didn’t know what. Before I knew it I had woken up in a panic and could not move, my chest felt heavy and I could not even speak” this was his most horrifying experience ever. But on rare occasions there are some other stuff as well. Animals are around but not as much. I believe this is because they just don’t want to be seen. But people have seen lots of dogs and cats mostly in houses probably where the pets lived. I think this is because they are looking for their owners or wanna be with the people that live in the house now. They might also wanna protect the house like they did in their life. Also people have seen all kinds of wildlife including deer and elk and bears stuff like that. It also depends on Where and when people see the sightings because if it’s an old prison site you might see the people from the death penalty, or if your over an Indian burial ground then you will most likely see a lot of native Americans around. Their can also be hostile ghosts or ones that are determined to hurt other people. That also depends on where you are because if the people aren’t nice when they are alive they won’t be nice when they are dead either unless some weird circumstances happen where the person was set free or something like that. The reason why I think the paranormal is around is basically either wanna protect what was there in the past or wanted to haunt someone who has done them wronged or just wants to observe the world where they were when they were alive.
